What we use
This site sets no cookies of its own. It only stores one entry in your browser local storage to remember the decision you make about measurement.
If you accept measurement, Google Analytics sets its own cookies. If you reject it, nothing from Google is loaded: no script, no cookies, no request to their servers.
What is stored
The vj_consent entry is strictly necessary in order to respect your decision: without it we could not remember that you said no. It therefore requires no prior consent, under article 22.2 LSSI-CE. It is stored only in your browser and sent nowhere.
The Google cookies exist only if you accept them.

We enable IP anonymisation, so Google does not retain your full address.
Google may process data outside the European Economic Area. The transfer relies on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
The rest of the site — typefaces, images, styles and code — is served from vjardiners.com, so no other third party receives your IP address.
Changing your decision
Through the «Cookie preferences» link in the footer of any page. You can grant or withdraw measurement whenever you like.
If you withdraw it, we delete the Google cookies and reload the page so that measurement stops.
We will ask again after 182 days, and sooner if we add a new tool: whoever accepted analytics did not accept whatever comes next.
The contact form
It sets no cookies. The data you send is handled as described in the privacy policy.
